The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalms 19:1
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Psalms 148:3
The Nature of You
As the trees drop their leaves, succumbing to fall
Lord I bear my soul, surrendering my all.
Father keep me in your Spirit every moment, I beg You please
Bringing power, joy and peace as the wind doth bring the breeze
I hear crickets sing Your praises at not just dusk but incessantly
And I join them in their chorus, "Hallelujah, I adore Thee"
Your mercy moves my spirit, like the ripples on a lake
Ever widening and abiding, Your love healing all my aches
When the shadows fall around me I seek warmth under your Son
Shining morning, noon and evening, when I feel chill, I know where to run.
Wrap me in your presence like the buds preparing for spring
Protected from elements that would harm, I thank you Jesus, King of Kings.
All the acorns on the ground waiting to bring life fresh and new
As you've given new life to me, all increase must come from You.
All the colors, texture, fragrances, declare your infinite creativity
Your infallible, omnipotent, omniscient Word and ability for keeping me.
Every creeping crawling thing shunned by most are still aware
That you're their maker and their Lord, and our utterances You do hear.
Every spring babbles Your name, every bird Your glory proclaims.
Every rock doth testify, Your excellence heralded from the skies.
The earth and lichens wish as well, Your awesome nature to share and tell.
And my soul bears witness too, keeper Jesus how I love You.
